Hiking holidays in Oetztal

The two gondola lifts (Hohe Mut, Wurmkogl) in Obergurgl are open even during the summer months. From your apartment in Obergurgl, it's just a few metres on foot to get to the lower terminus of the Hohe Mut cable car. The nearby Alpincenter provides guided hiking and climbing tours. A very special destination is the Obergurgl pine forest. On a 2.1 kilometre long adventure trail, walk past giant trees some of which are more than 300 years old. A total of 13 presentation boards along the route provide interesting facts and information.
