Our apartment house Gurglhof is located right by the ski slope. A leisurely walk will take you to the cable cars in a matter of minutes, to bring you up right into the top-quality skiing paradise. The skiing area Obergurgl-Hochgurgl - the Diamond of the Alps - covers no less than 110 kilometres of optimally groomed slopes (Hochgurgl skiing area approx. 54 km, Obergurgl skiing area approx. 56 km - of which 35 km easy, 55 km medium, 20 km difficult). 24 modern lifts provide easy and convenient access to the slopes, as well as short queues. The exceptional high altitude location (1,800 to 3,080 m) makes for a long skiing season with reliable snow conditions from mid-November until the beginning of May.

A special highlight when on skiing holidays in Obergurgl is the Top Mountain Star by Wurmkogel mountain at 3,080 m. Here you can enjoy a drink with wonderful panoramic views of the Ötztal Alps. The Hohe Mut mountain ridge with its traditional Hohe Mut Alm Lodge is worth a visit, seeing it is regarded as one of the most scenic mountains in Tirol. Another 9 huts, mountain restaurants or après-ski bars in the Obergurgl skiing area beckon to pop in. But it's not only in Obergurgl that you can indulge in skiing fun. When on skiing holidays in Ötztal, additional small and large skiing areas (Sölden, Hochötz-Kühtai, Gries, Vent, Niederthai) are waiting to be explored.
