Even the journey to our apartment house Gurglhof, up to the highlight of the Ötztal valley, holds the uniqueness of a high-alpine idyll. Striking mountain ridges, slopes and cirques rise, framed by forests and meadows, reaching up into the sky. Depending on the season, they appear lush green or glistening white. Upon arriving in Obergurgl – at 1,930 metres above sea level, above the clouds – the Gurglhof apartment house is situated in winter right on the slopes, and in summer is door-to-door with a paradise for hikers, cyclists and mountain enthusiasts.
ARRIVAL BY CAR
- Munich - Kufstein (A12) - Innsbruck - Ötztal exit - Obergurgl-Hochgurgl
- Munich - Garmisch - Scharnitz - Telfs - Ötztal - Obergurgl-Hochgurgl
- Kempten - Füssen - Reutte - Fern Pass - Imst - Ötztal - Obergurgl-Hochgurgl
When you arrive in Obergurgl, drive through the village to the end. The wooden and stone facade of the Hotel Gurglhof greets you there. Approaching your Gurglhof holiday home in Obergurgl, turn left in front of the Hotel Gurglhof and drive down to the car park between the Hochegg apartment complex and the Hotel Schönblick.
ARRIVAL BY TRAIN
- Innsbruck train station and continue by bus.
- Ötztal train station and continue by bus (8 x daily) to Obergurgl-Hochgurgl.
